Prairie Crossing Features

The Cabin Two new rooms, known as "The Cabin", have been added at Prairie Crossing, each with private washroom and bathing facilities. Each room was finished with barn wood from a private farm owned by Dean LeSage in Hays, Kansas, near Damar. The wood originated from a barn torn down over 50 years ago and stored since then in a shed. The beautiful French doors were painstakingly refurbished by hand with colored glass and refinished wood. The project began in November 24, 2009 and was completed February 4, 2010.




The Guest Room

The master suite features a fireplace, indoor fish pond, garden, and an elevated bedroom in addition to a private bath. For your convenience, the master bedroom has its own entrance.







	We used materials salvaged from old buildings in the area for the woodwork, tin ceiling, hardwood floors, and barn wood walls. The queen sized bed was custom built using Osage Orange trees that were growing on our property.

Additional bedrooms are available downstairs.









	No matter what the season, we offer all the amenities of home.
